01 — About

What it does

The 2.4GHz NRF24L01+PA+LNA SMA Wireless Transceiver Antenna provides reliable short-range wireless communication at 2.4GHz with power amplifier and low-noise amplifier for extended range up to 1000 meters line-of-sight.

Key features

  • 2.4GHz ISM band operation worldwide
  • PA + LNA for extended range up to 1000m
  • SMA antenna connector for external antenna
  • 125 selectable channels for interference avoidance
  • Multi-pipe communication (up to 6 nodes)
  • SPI interface for microcontroller connection
  • Low power consumption with power-down modes

Good to know

  • Module operates at 3.3V – use level shifters for 5V Arduino
  • Use RF24 library by TMRh20 for Arduino
  • External antenna required (SMA connector) – included
  • Range greatly reduced by walls and obstacles
  • Set channel away from WiFi (WiFi uses channels 1, 6, 11)
  • Use 10μF capacitor across 3.3V and GND for power stability
